Social Action Programs at Etz Chaim MTJC
At Etz Chaim MTJC we serve both the local community and the Jewish community in many ways and through many social action projects. These include:
- We organize a food drive each fall.
This year, because of the great ongoing need, our food drive will continue throughout the year. - We organize an annual blood drive.
- We maintain an ongoing collection of toiletries and other needed items.
- We support and contribute to the Passover Food Collection for Jewish Family Services
- We collect Books for Israel: a program that sends English children's books to schools in Eilat, Israel.
- We collect baby items for a shelter for abused women.
- We recently started an Interfaith Discussion group.
