At Etz Chaim MTJC we serve both the local community and the Jewish community in many ways and through many social action projects. These include:

• We serve meals monthly at Elijah's Promise, a local soup kitchen.
• We organize a food drive each fall.
• We organize several blood drives and a health fair each year.
• We maintain an ongoing collection of toiletries and other needed items.
• We support and contribute to the Passover Food Collection for Jewish Family Services
• We collect Books for Israel: a program that sends English children's books to schools in Eilat, Israel.
• We collect baby items for a shelter for abused women.
• We recently started an Interfaith Discussion group.

Social Action programs at Etz Chaim MTJC are coordinated by our Social Action Committee.
